An eight-year-old child bride has died in Yemen of internal bleeding sustained during her wedding night after being forced to marry a man five times her age, activists have claimed. 

The girl, identified only as Rawan, died in the tribal area of Hardh in northwestern Yemen, which borders Saudi Arabia. Activists are now calling for the groom, who is believed to be around 40 years old, and her family to be arrested so they can face justice in the courts.

woman allegedly chopped off a man’s testicles in Odisha after he tried to rape her, police said Tuesday, India.
The incident occurred near Gopalpur village in the coastal district of Jagatsinghpur, 100 km from state capital Bhubaneswar Sunday evening.
It came to light after police began a probe following a complaint by the man a day later.
The woman, a mother of two, said two men overpowered her when she was returning home from a temple.
She managed to free herself and fled to the temple.
When one of the men followed her and tried to rape her, she chopped off his testicles with a sharp weapon.
The man has been admitted to hospital. No arrest has been made yet.

The Lagos State Police Command has commenced investigations into the mysterious death of a 39-year-old trader, Sylvanus Okoye, who was discovered without his penis in a pool of blood at his house.

His corpse was said to have been discovered after a foul odour engulfed the premises of the house, located at Ezemegbu Drive, Okota.

According to the police, the victim was beaten to death by an irate mob for allegedly killing a trader, Mustapha Mohammed, on July 30, 2013.

A 13-year-old boy killed his police officer parents as well as his grandmother and great-aunt before spending a full day at school and then taking his own life.

Police believe Marcelo Pesseghini shot each victim in the head with a .40 caliber pistol early Monday morning at the home in Sao Paulo, Brazil, before catching a lift into school with a friend.

The father, Luiz Pesseghini, 40, a police sergeant with 19 years service was found in bed. The mother, Andreia Pesseghini, 30, who had served in the military police for 16 years was found on her knees in the bedroom. (Marcelo and his parents pictured above)

A terminally ill 2-year-old western Pennsylvania boy who served as his parents' best man at their wedding last weekend has died, according to his mother's Facebook page and a family friend.

Christine Swidorsky Stevenson's Facebook post said little Logan Stevenson died Monday night in her arms at the home she shared with the boy's father, her new husband, Sean Stevenson. The couple live in Jeannette, about 25 miles east of Pittsburgh, and were wed Saturday at a ceremony at their home.
The boy, who had leukemia and other complications, was dressed in a tan pinstripe suit and orange shirt for the wedding. His mother carried him on her shoulder, before he stood and was held by his grandmother, Debbie Stevenson, to witness the 12-minute ceremony.
